Heartfelt Greetings Beloved Yoga Friends & Family,

After 13 years of yoga and so much more, Yoga Central will be closing it's doors December 1, 2010. We are happy to have been the first yoga center to open in Lake County, and that we have shared the Light of Yoga for so many years. We've offered daily classes, retreats, workshops, privates, solstice events, community outreach, and community fundraiser events. Yoga Central has been a pillar for sharing yoga in Lake County. It has been a sacred space, where many people have undergone transformation and re-ignited their spiritual path; both teachers and students alike. Also, Yoga Central's Certified Yoga Teacher Training Programs have had many of our students go on to teach yoga, and open their own yoga centers and yoga businesses, both locally & nationally. The shakti waves of sharing yoga at Yoga Central will continue to ripple out, this we know.

Yoga Central was birthed into manifestation just over a year after our first child was born. Since then, as our family has grown, we have aimed with the highest intentions to balance family life, teaching and owning and operating a Yoga studio for the last 13 years. It is with the unwavering support and patience of my beloved husband and the loving assistance of so many beautiful souls that have been a part of Yoga Central, that has enabled us to serve in such a wonderful capacity in the community.

It is necessary for all of us to examine the core values that are present in our lives. The more consistently we embrace what matters most, the more we are following our hearts. It is our capacity to remain true to our heart and what we value, that helps build resiliency, flexibility and adaptability.

My greatest joys are being with my family and sharing Yoga in its many forms and dimensions. So, I have decided to continue what fills my heart with joy; spending more time with my family, sharing yoga and advancing my teaching dharma both locally and beyond through specialized classes, workshops, teacher trainings, yoga retreats and private sessions.

After a short break in December, I will be re-emerging in January with a local class schedule, as well as a schedule of upcoming workshops, trainings and healing yoga retreats. We will be posting these on the website, www.YogaCentral888.com and keep an eye out for the Samachar E-newsletters for our 2011 offerings.

We will have classes through November 30th and stay tuned for more info about our Celebration that night!

Realign your body after birth with gentle stretching & core strengthening. We will end each class with infant massage. Cost: $11 per class.


Core class for Inner Strength
Thursdays - November 4, 11, 18
6 to 7:15 p.m.
This class includes yoga postures, breathing techniques and conditioning movements to strengthen the core (powerhouse of the body), and develop a strong back. No part of the body will be missed. Breath work and a restorative final relaxation are included in this class. A great class for improving posture and decreasing injury potential. Open to All levels

Cardio Shimmy Bellydance Workout Class
Mondays - November 8, 15, 22
7:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Cardio Shimmy with Kristal Mize is an electrifying bellydance workout that explores the numerous shimmies, and layers them with other bellydance movements. Shimmies are the fast, shaking movements often thought of when describing bellydance. You will tone and get a full aerobic workout while having fun! Beginners are welcome, no dance experience necessary!

Kid's Yoga
Tuesdays - November 2, 9, 16, 23
5 to 5:50 p.m.
Parents can take a break and feel good about their children participating in this class which promotes the strengthening of children's growing bodies and relaxation of their creative minds with the added benefits of focus and discipline. Designed for children ages 5-12.


Tribal Fusion Bellydance for Beginners
Thursdays - November 4, 11, 18
7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tribal Fusion Bellydance uses bellydance movements as it's foundation. The emphasis is on the strong isolations of the bellydance movement vocabulary, and it frequently incorporates elements from Hip hop, Contemporary, Romani (Gypsy), Flamenco, Bhangra, Balinese, and other dance styles.
