Please hold the family of John Colvin in your prayers. John had a massive heart attack on January 13, 2009 and passed on. He had requested that if anything would ever happen to him or if he were to make his transition, that we would honor him with a Loving Re-membrance Service at Yoga Central, which we experienced with such Grace on Saturday, January 17th.

As most of you know, "Yoga John" was such a pillar of Light at Yoga Central and in the yoga community at large for the past several years. John was also instrumental in facilitating the inaugural Yoga Teacher's Training Program at Yoga Central assisting in the birthing of 8 new Yoga Teachers.

Together with his family we have set up the "John Colvin Memorial Scholarship Fund", which will make yoga available to many who might not otherwise be able to attend classes or Teacher Training here at Yoga Central. We are so very grateful to be able to provide this opportunity of transformation through yoga for others and invite you to be a part of the cause.

John will be greatly missed by the many souls whose lives were touched, inspired and forever changed by having known him. May he move on to his next level of service peacefully and with grace. We wrap his family in pink healing light and surround them with our love and prayers.
